NCL EQ – Matthew Lindsay

The NCL EQ is a 10 band PEQ.

Official Page

Not much to say. It is a parametric EQ, providing 10 bands and y clean GUI. The knobs are a little bit small, but you can enter the parameter directly if you want. Digital display provides detailed information and there is an A/B compare mode.
Provides some hotkeys for fine tuning.

GUI: 9/10

Knobs a bit to small, hard to read.

Function: 9/10

It is an equaliser and it works. 10 bands but only peak.

Efficiency: 10/10

0,4% CPU load (FX6300)

Personal opinion: 6/10

I like the graphical approach more (ReaEQ, TDR Nova), these classic GUIs might look nice, but won’t give you the control and visual response.
Only go for it if you are used to the “3 knobs” and want to have them.
